The EROAD AVL solution is a leading edge vehicle tracking and reporting answer in a world where there are a multitude of AVL options available. The difference lies in the security requirements behind the EROAD eRUC and electronic hubodometer specification: meaning that the EROAD Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) solution is legally required to be exceptionally secure and robust in order to guarantee vehicle locations and activities for RUC charging purposes.
Apart from offering a well thought out and practical array of vehicle activity reports, the EROAD dEPot system offers a unique OFFROAD Road user Charges (RUC) claim system that is linked to the exact RUC licence in play at the time: a feature enabled by the special linkage between the RUC licence, the AVL system, and the electronic hubodometer all in the same electronic unit.
